beach, beach, busselton

We woke up bright and early on our final morning, 5:23 to be exact, the sun was already out so we leisurely packed up and headed into Margaret River town for some brekkie and a coffee to wake ourselves up.

We sat staring at the map as we slowly woke up, how can we end our perfect little trip away? And then we had a brain wave, a tour of all the best beaches on the way home!

Okay, Okay I'll stop.

And then we got to Busselton, which is a beautiful coastal town only a few short hours from home..

By this time our tummies were rumbling, and there was only one option for these two hungry travellers... The Goose, is one of my favourite places to grab a drink in the whole world. Nestled right on the edge of the beach with a beautifully crafted menu and a cracking cocktail list. We grabbed a table outside and decided to share a pizza and chips.

Talk about food with a view!
The food was awesome and pretty good value for money, especially considering the location. We toyed with heading straight home but it felt almost criminal to be in Busselton and not walk the jetty.
so we grabbed a giant ice-cream each from Simmo's before we set of..

By the time we'd walked the 2km we were baking hot, there was only one logical way to cool of...so we stripped down to our swimmers any jumped in.

The perfect end to a perfect getaway!
