I just want to apologise for the quality of the photos- my blog layout stretches everything so they've gone a bit pixelated!
There's 10 golden rules in lomography, the first is take your camera everywhere you go & this is something I definitely do- be it one of my DSLRs, a point and shoot, a disposable film camera or, most commonly, my beloved iphone I always have a camera with me. I see life in pictures, so the thought of seeing something incredible and not being able to capture it in a photograph is devastating, equally I love to play around with my photography and take silly pictures, edit them & use home made lens filters. So when the lovely folks at three sent me a holga case* for my iphone I was understandably excited, in fact I bounced down the stairs when I saw good old Mr post man waiting at the front door to hand it over- complete with the you do far too much internet shopping look that postmen give us bloggers. I ripped open the parcel and took out the little device and clipped it straight on to the back of my iphone ready to play in the garden taking pictures. I'm going to be pretty honest, the actual device looks and feels rather naff, the packaging is terrible (think 99p order from ebay type packaging) but the results are awesome. The case has 10 different filter effects from colours and blur to split images, you can probably tell these were my favourites by far. It was super fun being able to achieve so many effects with my iphone and encouraged me to get a little bit more creative when using it to take photos.
I've found an exact replica of the case on ebay for £4.14 clickity click, so if you fancy pimping your iphone or buying a present for a photography loving friend definitely invest!
Are you and your camera inseparable? If you take photos I'd love to see some of your work!
