After the mad rush of christmas we couldn't think of anything more perfect than a mini getaway, so we booked some time off work, packed the 4WD full of camping gear and set off South. We set up base in our little tent at the Contos field campground which is run by Parks and Wildlife, charging $10 per adult per night, we threw our tent together in record time dumped our bags and ran to the beach.
Who said grownups can't play in sand too?!
We stayed until the sunset and our tummies begun to rumble, watching the surfers catching waves and the fishermen bringing in their daily catch. It was the perfect time to re-energise and prepare ourselves for the next few days.
