Stitch bar and Luna Park, Sydney

After spending a busy day exploring Sydney we head back to the hotel and tried to find some recommendations for good local bars, before long I found out about a nearby bar called Stitch. Hidden underground at 61 York Street, Stitch had a mix of shining reviews for their cocktails and American diner style menu, we were sold. It took us a few attempts to find Stitch, walking past the plain front door numerous times before I noticed the wall of Singer sewing machines...

(I'll apologise now for the bad photos)

I ordered a Spring Bok cocktail which was $16, which is pretty reasonable for a trendy CBD bar. Dan went for bottle of tiger beer.

Dan went for the Chilli cheese dog, a spicy pork sausage with sauerkraut, caramelised onion, jack cheese, chilli salsa and coney island mustard. It was $14, again pretty reasonable for central Sydney. The portion size was generous and it came with a nice pile of greens, of which he ate none.

Stitch's famous curly fries, dusted in smoked paprika, were super yummy and the perfect size for sharing and a pocket friendly $6.

I'm currently majorly addicted to veggie burgers so went for their Earthly burger, a spiced potato pumpkin and chickpea patty, pickled beetroot (because we're in Australia) with sweet and sour carrots, pearl onions and marinated lebneh ($13). It was super yummy and unlike boy, I crammed all my greens in.

The service at Stitch bar was super friendly and efficient, we'd definitely go back again!

When we were done we took a stroll through to the ferry terminal and head over to Luna Park.

And then when it got dark we strolled along the harbour side and got some snaps of Sydney at night...

Before we knew it, it was way waaay past bed time, so we head on the ferry back to circular quay and went straight back to bed.
